Expanse of Space

On the second day God created a “space between the waters” and He called this the “sky”. On day 4 He filled the sky with planets and stars. During that time in between, the sky was a blank canvas. It was an expanse waiting to be filled.

In the Beginning

 Genesis 1:2

² Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
